Where the audio chip location on Asus X550LD motherboard?

My Asus X550LD laptop do not have any sound from internal speaker and headphone jack.
After update the driver,it still not working.
There is no any sound device found in device manager.
So I decide to open the laptop and see whether there have the internal audio chip or not.
But I don't know where is the audio chip location.
Because this laptop I just buy it from eBay.

Any expert had such information,please help me and provide me some information.

Hi, the audio chip is the Realtek ALC3236, the red arrow indicates the chip.

Did you find the chip? Did they mention on eBay that the sound was defective or the laptop was functional? You have different transistors around this chip, perhaps one of them is faulty or the audio chip itself is indeed defective.

I found that there is no the Realtek ALC3236 chip at that place,that place is empty.
Can I just buy the Realtek ALC3236 chip and install it on the motherboard?
Will it be work?

It should work if the problem was the chip, but before ordering the chip, can you solder that kind of chip, it has very small pins? If so, have you all the components around the chip as in the picture. If so, then you can easily find the chip on the Internet and install it. If you do not have sound after the installation, I can help you solve the problem.

You are missing 2 capacitors, one transistor and maybe a resistor. The transistor is connected at pins 3 of the audio jack. They could be replaced, but I have to find what they are.

On the last picture you sent, what are the numbers and/or letters on the 3-pin transistor in the lower right corner, just below the audio jack.

It has the form of a transistor, but it's actually two fast diodes (BAV99) in this housing. Only two capacitors and a resistor to find.

I was too technical for you, sorry, what I have found, the transistor is rather two diodes, but that is irrelevant. I have to find what are the values of the two capacitors and the resistance to complement the audio circuit.

The problem I have, I can't find at the moment, any information about the audio chip that you need (ALC3236). The best solution is to buy a new chip, and install it on the motherboard.

For now, you do not need the transistor, on a motherboard I saw that they did not install both transistors because it is not part of the audio chip circuitry to operate, they are maybe installed for electrostatic protection. For the capacitors, I have to find the datasheet of the chip or a schematic that uses the chip, I have not found it yet. And for the resistance, it is used for a signal to the audio jack, for now you do not need to test the audio chip when it is installed.

I found the transistor and a site that you can buy, but I will wait until I find the value of the resistor and capacitors so you can buy them all in one place.
