I'm currently having trouble with a PC that won't boot when the HDD power cable is attached.
I have run through all of the components and have only encountered the issue when the HDD is attached to the power cable. Everything runs fine otherwise.
I have tried swapping out the PSU, the HDD, and all cables involved, but with no luck.
The computer gets power very briefly before stopping, and needs to be powered off completely and the HDD removed before it will post.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Since swapping out the HDD/PSU/Cables hasn't helped I'm lost for ideas.
