Which mini-ITX is better? The Gigabyte one obviously has Wifi, but I didn't choose the MSI version with Wifi because one can probably get a cheaper external solution for it.
I've seen MSI mentioned as a manufacturer with low quality control. Not that I can find many complaints about this particular board. But the audio chip is lower, Realtek ALC887 vs. ALC892 (plus noise reduction tech) on the Gigabyte.
The Gigabyte seems fine, however I've seen some mentions of compatibility issues with RAM, at least without Bios-Update.
Accidentally, the memory-compatibility list on the manufacturer's site seems smaller, maybe by half, compared to MSI's:
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5639&kw=GA-B150N%20Phoenix-WIFI#
https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B150I-GAMING-PRO-AC.html#support-mem
But this might not necessarily be an issue.
Do you have an opinion on any of these boards or brands?
