Boot disk not recognised

Hi my pc won't boot up and I can't access bios. When I turn it on it asks me to insert a boot disk and press any key. It also doesn't detect any usb devices I.e mouse and keyboard. I've plugged in an old keyboard (ps2) connection which does work but I press any key and it just repeats the same question "insert another boot disc and press any key".

I have my store bought windows 10 usb in and I've also tried putting a windows cd in the drive. Neither makes any difference.

When the bios splash screen comes up and I hit del to access the bios it just goes straight to the bootdisc message again.

I think I could fix it if I could access either the bios or Windows but can't do anything at the moment. Any suggestions?

It was working normally until a few days ago when this happened suddenly on restarting it. It is all fairly new hardware.

Did you try to remove the battery from the mainboard so that the bios will reset?
Also try to remove all internal disks and try the usb/dvd again just to check if a internal disk interferes with the process.
Also did you have any power outages in the region prior to this happening?Any storms?

(also how sure are you that you have to hit del? does it have any other button for the boot menu? )

Thanks going to try take the battery out of the m/board now. It's definitely del to enter bios because it still shows the keys with the splash screen. The keyboard works used it on another pc.
