Hey guys, I don't really find a use in overclocking as for the results I have seen, its only gives you a 9 frame increase and a voided warranty. However I use MSI Afterburner to keep tabs on my temperatures and speeds of my hardware. However, last night I was playing Metro 2033 and it immediately crashed. I opened MSI to check what was going on and the clock/Memory speeds had been increased by over 1000 and they could not be changed back. This all happened after I installed the new Nvidia Driver. So what do I do? I am using a GTX 970 Wind-force, Windows 8 and a non-overclockable skylake i5. Any help would really be Appreciated.

the same thing happened to me only I am overclocking quite modestly and stably, does afterburner no longer display your graphics card and/or the monitoring related to it? for me the only thing that fixes this is updating driver but i worry this will happen every tiem a new driver is released. I hope this issue gets figured out because i know its not because of too much OC. It's clearly on the software end of things
