I have Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI Motherboard. I GTX 980 Ti Evga Superclocked Graphics Card and 4790k processor. I want to install GTX Titan X Evga onto this motherboard, but I am not sure if I can. My power supply is 850 W. Please, tell me if I can install GTX Titan X Evga onto my motherboard. If not, suggest a motherboard that is compatible. Also, is the power supply enough and what SLI bridge do I need if I can install Titan X. Thanks in advance!

Didn't understand you very good. I'm not tech savvy. I can only run one at a time?

So, I can only run identical GPUs? Is there a way I can run two different ones? And is 850 W power supply enough for two GTX 980 Ti EVGA Superclocked, then?

you cannot run 2 different ones !!! and yes 850 is enough for as 2nd gpu unless its a junk psu.

update: you got a junk psu

It might work even if you have different GPU's but you definitely need to have a power supply that can supply that kindof voltage. Check how much pull each one has and then convert that into watts and that will tell you if you can run it. Youy will want a good 80 watts of "wiggle room". Also the wires coming from your Power Supply may not be adequate. However there are adapters for these plugs you want to be very careful with using too many adapters. I currently am running three monitors and there is nothing better than multi-monitors. Good Luck and I hope it all works out! If you need any more help I'd be happy to help.

You need another 980ti. SLI only works between identical chips.

So I can have another graphics card, but I need a new power supply? I have 850 W, and if that is enough, why is it junk? Thanks!

Someone is saying that my PSU is not suitable for gaming. Is that true?

Okay. I have GTX 980 Ti EVGA Superclocked. I can't install different chips. Will this ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1235658-REG/evga_06g_p4_5998_kr_geforce_gtx_980_ti.html ) be able to work along with my Superclocked EVGA 980 Ti? It's same graphics card but different type (EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N ACX 2.0+).

Yes they will work.

It supports SLI. It is GA-Z97X-SLI.

Can I go with 980ti and the 1080 that is coming out soon?

Ah, sorry, i was looking at the part list in the picture.
No, you can't. For the last time, they need to be identical chips. A 980ti will only work in SLI with another 980ti. The brand doesn't matter, but it needs to be a 980ti.
