im having trouble with my computer (Toshiba satellite C655D 3GB ram)
Here is my situation: I was browsing around the internet (using firefox) last night till 2am, untill i shut the lid and fell asleep.
when i woke up i logged back on and my computer was VERY slow, so i shut it off and booted it back up
when i was turning it on, windows downloaded something without any problems, but when i logged on, there where some strange processes when i opened task manager (because my computer is normally slow i end useless processes), i ended a process called leigon(i dont remember the exact name) and my desktop windows dissapeared, i could see my wallpaper, and i could open task manager through Ctrl+alt+del,but nothing else
So i turned my computer off again , logged on, and it was still slow as balls. so i opened task manager again, some different processes appeared, then dissapeared, and when they did my memory usage went to max. i opened up resource monitor, and my problem was scvhost.exe. (i would give you the exact name but im scared to leave safemode
) i searched the interned in aids mode and found http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/31235-63-high-memory-usage-question-virus-cleanup.
after reading that i did the first two steps in http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/8263-63-simple-free-guide-removing-malware
i dont know what im doing so i would like some help, thank you!
