(Complete noob question, sorry!)
Hi there,
As a student moving to a different part of my country for university next year wanting to take my massive (previously used for gaming) PC with me, I wanted to know the essentials to get my huge computer down sized to a degree where it is portable and in a small form factor.
Currently my PC has a;
Intel Core i7 2600K,
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 (Socket 1155)
2 Tb harddrives (I'll get rid of these for an SSD most likely)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 (definately buying a new GPU, this one is faulty and im assuming too big for a smaller pc chasis)
So, aside from a smaller chassis, what is the best motherboard size/type to buy? What else will I have to buy to turn this pc into a smaller yet just as fast pc for my essay/studying needs? Any help is appreciated, and I apologize for the lack of knowledge.
Thank you!!!
