I have 2 HDD's, I'm currently using the 1TB Seagate and I have another one, a 500GB Seagate on which there is a Windows 10 installation, how do I delete that from the 1TB drive?

Solution

Copy your desired data off to a different physical drive.
Then wipe that one. Start with a clean slate.
if you dont want the data on the other drive you can boot into windows 10 installer advance mode and delete the partions on the drive you dont want the data on. you can also use disk managemnt on the new install of windows 10 to delete all of the data off the other drive. there also from the windows 10 installer prompt commands to wipe drives. you have to look online for the commands.

Assuming there is nothing on that drive that you need, diskpart and wipe all the partitions.
Create one large partition and use the drive as needed.

I want the data on the drive, I just want to delete the remaining folders of that Windows 10 installation, like d:\Windows and d:\Program Files x86

I've already tried taking ownership of those folders, but they say I need permission to delete them.
