System Specifications:
MOBO: ASRock Z170 Gaming i7
CPU: Intel i7-6700 3.45ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geoforce GTX 970
PSU: Corsair CX750M
COOLING SYSTEM: Corsair H80i v2
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 [x2]
Tower: NZXT H440 Razer Special Edition
===========================================================================
So, first I just want to say I have tried for days now to look up everything I can think of and have done countless different things to try and figure out this issue, to no avail.

So, I bought the new MOBO and transplanted all my other hardware from my Dell XPS 7900 tower/build, BUT I can't seem to get any monitor to work (below I will explain what steps I've taken to try and solve this issue). I don't hear any beeps, even though I don't think I can, as this new tower doesn't have an internal/mobo speaker.

Steps taken (in no particular order):

- Remove GTX 970 graphics card
- Moved the graphics card to try each one of the 4 GPU slots
- Try different RAM
- tried both different RAM setups in different slots and with only one
- Resetting the CMOS
- Removing the MOBO battery for more than 2min
- Checked all connections
- Removed all hardware
- Replaced all hardware
- Checked for bent pins in the CPU slot
- Cleaned off and reapplied Thermal Paste (a tiny amount, yes)
- Tried 3 different monitors
- Each one on different cards (Each one works fine when connected to laptop and/or xbox and worked fine in prior setup)
- Tried each one with HDMI and then DVI
*That's all I can think of right now*

How can I update my BIOS if I can't even get to the POST? >.< What I thought would be an easy swear, has become a huge headache and hindering my playing video games and editing :(

- Could it be that the PSU might not be supplying enough power because it has to power the CPU, Cooling, 8x fans, and the GPU? I've researched and it doesn't seem that way.

- WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???? hahaha

Coming on here and actually posting about my problems and not being able to fix it is something i'M NOT proud of doing, as I use this as an absolute last resort... but I'm tired and lost on what to do now.

I didn't want that to be the answer hahaha Even if it is correct :p I am stationed in Hawaii, and there is no stores around here that are computer-geek friendly... so it'd have to be an Amazon order/waiting time

I understand. The problem is that you've performed the usual steps and still no go. If you wish, we can start from zero again.
If yes, try taking the board outside the case, remove the CPU and post a picture of the CPU socket. Then we'll start from there.

I just used my Dropbox and made the folder shareable... hopefully that works... if you look at the bottom right and middle of the bottom of the CPU seat, it looks like 3 pins are somewhat bent, but 1. that's how it came, so that would suck if they are bent 2. when I zoomed in on it with my camera it actually looks like they are suppose to be like that? cause no of the other pins are formed like them

Hey there just a comment about your z170 socket look closely those pins look kinda wiers they shud be all the same dont they. go to goog and search for a z170 socket picture and compare them. good luck

There are several bent pins.
You can try straightening them (a magnifying glass would help), or RMA-ing the board.

a. get them straightened
b. have to ship it out and receive it back

I will post back on here with the update, and hopefully I can get this fixed... really don't wanna go without my PC for that long :'(

Again, thank you for your help

Looks like I am going to have to RMA. Sadly the dealer I bought it through only had a 30-Day return policy. I bought the mobo on 27MAR2016, while I was on a mission overseas. I returned on 13MAY2016 and was excited about using the item. :( I have sent a request form to ASRock directly, and hope they can help me out, since it does have a 1yr warranty.
