Best OS for Gaming?

Well, Windows 7 support ended. It's not safe now, as MS won't make more updates. And in my new build, I am planning to install either WIn8/8.1 or WIn10?

Which one should I install? I will be playing GTA V, The Division, DArk Souls 3 and every other game that comes (even DirectX 12 ones).

Imo either you install win10 which supports dx12 games or you keep your curent win7 partition and create a new one with win10 for the dx12 only games.Win 8.1 are good too but wont support any dx12 games.

Win 7 Extended support (basically, security issues) continues until 2020.

Want DirectX12? Need Win 10.

Well only Win 10 supports DX12. Win 7, 8.1 & 10 all perform equally well for gaming. 10 supports DX12 so I see no reason not to pick it. Each OS has its positives outside gaming but comes down largely to what you prefer.

No, I won't be installing more than one OS. So, I think i would go with WINDOWS 10. BTW, you sure my listed games will run on it?

Okay, so my choice comes down to WIndows 10, but will I be able to run GTA V, Dark Souls 3, etc. on windows 10?

Yes absolutely,i havent hear any issue with gta v on win10 or any other game and also i play dark souls 3 on win 10 and runs great.
