Hello.

I have an oldish PC at home that has a MSI 880GMA-E35 (FX) in it.
I want to upgrade it an use it for gaming. I'm looking for a CPU and Graphics card and I have a 400 USD Budget. I would like to get a GTX 960 but not too sure if it would work as I'm not too familiar with computers.

Check your PSU before buying your GPU, although a 960 should work fine on 450w if it is some no brand garbage it would be worth it to replace that as well. A FX6300 is supported by your motherboard so you could get one and it should work fine.
