My friend and I built my new PC a week ago, and when I turned it on today it just said "USB Device over current has been detected system will shut down after 15 seconds to protect your mainboard". I have an MSI Z170I Gaming AC MB, and know nothing about computers. Here are my USB ports: https://twitter.com/TheGamamJ/status/731817360252907520 What should I do?

I tried not having anything in the USB ports, got the error message. Tried disconnecting the front panel USBs, got the error message.

Solution
one or more of ur usb ports are shorting...
reassemble ur pc from scratch again...if sumthng didnt go wrong during assembly, u ll get this error again...which means a broke mobo...
and if tht is the case, u have to consider rma...
