Stock cpu cooler too loud

Have you tried cleaning it and the pc in general? Dust can cause fans to spin very fast to compensate.

Well, if that cooler's time has passed, i would get another one. There are cheap and very reliable options.

Enable overheat protection in the BIOS if you can just to be safe. The TX3 is pretty loud at full speed. What case, CPU, RAM and Mobo do you use so we can recommend something?

It wont die don't worry. Like teh previous poster said go in the bios and enable both "cpu fan fail warning" and "cpu temperature warning". Set the latter to 80C.
Generally I would recommend a Hyper 212 EVO, but you could also look on ebay for a fan replacement as that might be cheaper(people sell them even new if they have an aftermarket cooler).
