SSD shows in BIOS but not Disk Management, My Computer, or my Devices

Hello, I just connected my 850 Evo SSD and after booting it shows in BIOS and is configured in AHCI mode. Yet when I go to my desktop I only see my C: drive and not the SSD. This is what my Disk Management looks like and I do not see the SSD. I also don't have a Windows CD (currently on Windows 10) and I was not planning on putting the OS on the SSD, as I've seen this solution offered for this problem.

Thanks in advance for the help

Hey there FriedFlesh.

This is a bit weird. I'd suggest that you try the SSD with different SATA cables and a different SATA port, to see if it is detected afterwards. It would be even better if you could give it a try with a different computer as well either externally (via a SATA to USB adapter, external enclosure, or a docking station), or internally (via a standard SATA connection). This way, if it shows up, you'd be able to test it for errors with an SSD diagnostic tool, to see if there's anything wrong with the drive itself.

Please let me know how it goes.
