Hey, I recently experienced problems with my computer being not laggy ,but as if it's in slow motion.

I have swapped and tested my ram, ssd, and my graphics card and I still experience the same issues.

People have similar issues to this, but no one else has them in the bios or, when playing the starting windows animation

I have come to grips that either my 3 year old motherboard or cpu may need replacing. I was hoping somebody on the site could tell which one could be causing the problems.

[my specs]

motherboard : gigabyte z77-d3h
cpu : i7 3770k

(I am using a stock fan and heatsink)

CPU Temps while in BIOS : 60*c

I left some photos of the cooling in my computer just in case it helps, thanks again for the suggestion this isn't something I thought to consider.

You think that is the cause, it's not very hot today and I only turned the computer on for a minute, but I thought a CPU lasted longer than 3 years without any problems.

A high temperature is far more likely to have to do with problems with the cooling solution (too much dust, fan not working, no longer a firm connection) than anything to do with the CPU not lasting.
