Hi guys recently purchased Assassin Creed Rogue! When playing the game and using the controller to move im getting some sort of break up on my display.

Its horizontal and sort of breaks up the picture? It not that noticable but very annoying every time you move the player?

Its like its not refreshing fast enough?

Im using a Samsung monitor T24D390S 1080P. Not sure what the setting are for this display? Could it be cheap HDMI?

Any idea?

You can't compare how text looks on a laptop vs this system. Your text issue should be solved with looking at the monitor brightness and contract settings, see if there is a pre-set for "text". Also look at the TrueType setting in Windows. Set vsync in the game with the issue, see what happens.

Not sure about your 4k question, that is a resolution not a video card model. If you want a video card to run at 4k resolution, get one of the new cards coming out from nVidia, 1070 or 1080 will do it for decent speeds at medium settings.

I'm not sure if vsync is on or off? How would I check? It only happens when playing this game?

Tired turning down graphics setting with no update!

I have also noticed the writing in Windows is hard to read or blurry! Not sure if it's that or my eyesight?

Would there be an issue card?

What do you mean you noticed the writing is hard to read, is this a new video card or new computer? Why would you notice the text issue just now if it's not new? Need some details about the system and what you tested and tried already.

Vsync settings are in the game options, turn it on, see if the same things happen.

This card is an old card I've had it for a while now but having been on my PC in a while.

Just started gaming and that again! Current set up is i5 4960k, SSD, Shapphire 290 - with Arttic extreme cooler, G Skill 8GB Ram, 850w power supply and Evo cooler!

Using a Samsung T24D390s Display!

I have crisis 3 and GTA and I don't get this issue with these games and they are at maximum settings!

Sorry for maybe not being as knowledgeable with these matters. It's first gaming PC,

The writing can maybe be thick and thin in places when web browsing! I have a Mac Pro and may I'm comparing my display with it.

Is there any card you could recommend if I had to change?

Will my current system run the new cards such as 4K?
