DOOM (2016) Update size for PC??

As it says in the title, ive been looking everywhere and I still haven't got a answer. How big is the size of DOOM's Day one patch/updates for PC. NOT PS4 or XBOX ONE!

Apparently, Bing is not your friend. Not when you look for the wrong details. He was asking for the UPDATE size. Not the disk space requirements for the entire game.

55GB is way to overkill to be a update, I wanna know the proper patch/update size for PC is be for I buy the game cause I don't have a lot of data, I heard that the 5.7gb update was only for console...

The link above does mention consoles, but I believe the patch will be the same general size regardless of the platform.

I came across a website that said that PC gamers will have a bigger update than console gamers, not sure to why, that's why I'm trying to find out how big it is

That's not the 'update'. That's part of the game files which you need to download. The total game size is around 55gb. If you get the retail version, you still need to download about 48gb.....the rest has to be downloaded.

If you're using steam, it will automatically download the update as well (provided automatic updates are enabled in your steam account). Anything over the 55gig size is your patch/ update.
