My computer keeps freezing every few weeks and then is unable to boot to the desktop. I have done refreshes from the windows 8.1 CD and that will fix the problem for a week then the same problem will happen again. I have also ran sfc/scannow and that finds corruption then fixes the files, my pc will boot and run fine again. After a week the problem reoccurs and sfc shows the same problems. I have also ran chkdsk, seagate tools drive check, they show no problems. Also i have done a clean install of windows onto my main drive. That fixes my computer for about a week then the same problem occurs. I am honestly not sure where to go from here, not sure if it is a hardware or software issue, help greatly appreciated.
Forgot to add when I restart my computer icons appear in the middle of the desktop even though they were put on the left side. I've run two virus scans windows and malewarebytes, still no issues found.

Update: I ran mdsched it came back with no errors.
