internet portal nor working ?

Hello, Friend

I have a one problem, after thunder sky my desktop internet portal are not working.

What should i am do, i can replex or i can go service center, there changed that, or i can use router .

The thunderstorm may have damaged the network card inside your computer, so install a new network card to start with.

In future, you should plug your computer in to a surge-protected power socket.

i thing you are right, because : befour when i am internet plug in, that time there green light , but now not light , nothing ...but how i am instal . please .....

Yes, I don't know how to instal. i am toking about our computer repairing master, thay are tell me , you can use internet other portal - connect in motherboard, than you can use,

other was, that motherboard change, that network protal.

There's no need to change the entire motherboard, if you do that you would have to re-install Windows.

Just buy a new 10/100 network card and install it in an empty PCI or PCI Express slot on the motherboard.

Check your motherboard first to see what empty expansion slots it has.

Okay - - just make sure your motherboard has an empty PCI Express slot for the card.

Before you install the new card, have a look in Device Manager to see if the old network adapter is shown.
If it is, disable it.

Then shut down your PC and install the new card.

You shouldn't have any problems if you follow the above instructions.

i am buy imternet card ( tp link). i am instal, than also is not working, here happend one thing , instal time , choice one .inf file in software cd file. but i am, not abelt to find this .inf file.

but here are showing, instal successfull. but i am not abelt to access .

Hi,

i am consulting hardware repairing, they are telling me, First you do, bios inside network disable which is disconnect, than what you are instal new network card, that are working.

please send me like thing , how i am what are thing are have to change in bios that i can do. ( link also ).

I can't tell you how to change BIOS settings until I know the make & model of the computer.
