I have a CM k281 cabinet and bought Cooler Master SickleFlow X Blue 120 mm Cooler to install on the side wall of the cabinet . should it be made as intake or exhaust fan ?.
my system specs are
Chip-AMD Fx 8320
Mobo-Asus M995a
Cooler Master Hyper 212X Cooler
Kingston fury 16 gbram
Zotac Gpu.
Now the core temp is around 70.c.
My place is little bit dusty. Please let me know whether the side fan should be intake or exhaust, so that dust wil not accumulate quickly.
as of now the k281 has Front fan in intake and rear is exhaust.
Also , is it easy to install this xtra side fan( any link on this part will be helpfull)

Solution

Normally it is just to compare the number and size of the intake and exhaust fans. If you have a small hole in the case somewhere you could check if air is flowing into or out of it.
Make it an input. You want more intake fans than exhaust fans since denser air will cool better. And if your case has a positive pressure, dust will not come in the cracks.

Normally the front, side, and bottom are intake and the top and back are exhaust.
