Hey guys
I want to upgrade my cpu and i have seen in my motherboard's page that it says I must have the latest version of BIOS to support AM3+ CPUs as it can also support AM3 CPUs. I checked my BIOS version and it was the F3 version and then went to the download section to see that is an F4 version and an F5a which was a BETA one. The F4 version says Update CPU AGESA 1.1.0.2 and the F5a version says Update CPU AGESA code. What should I do?

Yeah, that's it. last BIOS is f5a and is required for Bulldozer core FX processors (FX4100 - FX8100). Unfortunately it doesn't mention Vishera core processor (FX4300 - FX83xx). Can't tell if they are supported.
So, you probably have a Phenom II processor now ?

Get the customer support, both for the BIOS and the CPu, and ask them whether it will support the other or not.

Read the release notes for the BIOS files carefully.

Which exact MB is that ? Model and version please ?
