Hi all,

I have a very strange problem which is driving me nuts. I have a program in my Startup group but most of the time, after the PC boots, the PC waits for over 2 minutes before then running this program. During this time, i can run any program, including the one in the Startup group !!!

Is there any way to see what's happening between successful boot and the loading of the Startup Group (some sort of logging program / utility) ? Or is there a way to see the order in which the Startup Items will load, and to potentially change the running order, which could allow me to see which other item could be holding everything else up ?

Solution
What you need to do upon starting windows is open up task manager, ctrl, alt, delete, then find the tab that says startup and click it.
With everything loading up, you'll see what will start up with windows, click on the process tab. and
See which program is taking up most cpu/memory to load up and stay on.
Next you click on start, type in the search bar msconfig, disable a program from booting up with windows.
