Hello everyone! Windows says that my USB memory is write-protected. I checked the USB's properties using CMD and it shows that it's NOT write-protected but Windows keeps showing that it is.
I'll be happy if someone help me fix that.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
How old is that drive? Some older and cheaper USB drives will stop being writable when theyre dying, to prevent further damage and making the user capable of saving the contents. That could be the problem when you didnt do anything that could have make this error occur.
What filesystem are you using? Try to backup the data and try to reformat the drive with a partition manager ( "minitool partition home wizard", "easeus partition master" etc.)
Hope that I could help you :)

Well, it's not cheap. It's by Sony but, yeah, it's old. The file system is FAT32. I've BackUp it already. When I try to format it with CMD it shows an error "The request could not be performed because I/O device error" which makes me think that you're right - I'll need a new USB Memory :D

Thank you! :)
