Question regarding CPU power connectors on my new PSU

Today I got a new PSU (Thermaltake Smart 730W) and I noticed it had 2 4-pin connectors for my CPU wattage. Up until now my previous PSUs only had 1 4-pin connectors. My motherboard on the other hand (Asus P8H77-V LE) has an 8-pin connector slot. All these years that I've only used 1 4-pin connector I didn't have any problems with undervoltage on my CPU (Intel i5 3450 Ivy Bridge), although I haven't tried overclocking it.
So my question is this: Should I use both my 4-pin connectors on my mobo now that I have them? Does using both of them make any actual difference? Could I instead do damage to my CPU if I use both of them?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Yes you should plug them in. If you have them why not? Even if you can run stable with a single 4, it is safer to use 2 4s. You won't damage your CPU, since the board is designed for 2, the CPU should,
Using them would just make it safer, no actual difference, and since you cant overclock, well no change
