pc freezes while gaming after new thermal paste

Might have too much or too little Thermal compound on it. What CPU cooler? Make sure it's fully attached and not overly tight
It IS more than a grain of rice but it is a nice smooth layer. the heatsink is mounted on with a mechanism so i cant make it very tight. There are 2 cooling elements. one is a standard MSI circupipe cooling for the motherboard and another one is a cylindrical heatsink with a fan in it. the fan is set to 87.5% power so i think it should be alright.
