will that cause damage to my hdds ?
I have 2 tb wester digital black
1 tb blue western digital
2 tb green wester digital
Samsung ssd 850 evo 250 GB

as long as it not access the drives, should be ok. But there always a small chance something might happened.

Highly unlikely with modern drives. Unless you were shaking the unit while turning it down
