Xbox 360 RROD only thing powered on is LED lights

So I dug out my old Xbox 360 from 2006 (Replaced it with Xbox 360 Elite) that had RRODed. The weird thing is, NOTHING else except the LED lights are powering on. The fans won't spin up, the HDD won't spin up, and the DVD drive won't open, the drive isn't just stuck because it makes no noise either. BUT, I just realized the power supply LED is orange, what do I do? The thing is, the power supply worked with the Xbox 360 Elite, so is it the motherboard?
Secondary error code: 0003

Also, it is unmodded.

Well if you do a little googling of that error code most people seem to think it a GPU issue due to overheating so basically require a reflow, that seems to involve stripping the whole system down then with a heat gun, reheating the solder ball under the CPU/GPU. Here some links

Personally it probably would be better junking it and purchasing a the last model of the small xbox if you want a backup.

It's been awhile but are using the power supply from the newer elite on the old xbox 360 ? I thought the "newer" one had less power requirements so your PSU may not be able to supply enough to the older xbox if your using the newer supply.

No, I have been using the old one in the Elite.
