Need help! Installing motherboard into a new case, and I'm not sure if I did everything correctly...

I am installing a Z97 Asus armored edition mobo into the corsair 600T case. I had to use longer screws, as opposed to the screws that came with the case/mobo to even get through to the other end.

One of them, however, won't go in all the way through, but it still makes it out to the back end of the motherboard (where all the other screws end).

Will this half-installed screw still cause a short to happen?

Solution
As long as the screw is within the grounding standoff it should work. Though personally i would just remove that screw and work with the ones the ones that are installed all the way.

The problem is... they don't fit at all. The armored edition holes are too deep, and the short screws only go in some of those holes, not all of them.
