My laptop has got one 3.5mm audio jack and it supports the mic and audio like the ones that are on phones and this is why I was considering getting the Kraken pro. So I'm wondering does the mic work with like mobiles etc or only when you use the splitter, thanks in advance.

Ok, So I will address both questions. Yes, the mic will work if you are using android (2.3 or later) or iOS 5 or later without an adaptar. It will not work on any windows phone. It will work any laptop running windows 7 or newer.
