core i5 6500 non K build, suggestions please

planning to escape laptop world and go back to desktop, im not a heavy user or heavy gamer, but i like having power, that's why i choose core i5 6500 as a cpu and gtx 970 "used" for the gpu

Instead of getting a used 970 for around 200 bucks, a new 380X for the same money is a very good idea.. see its compare with the 970 - even better than the 970 at ultra settings..

Also a motherboard with 4-RAM slots will allow you to add 2 RAM sticks later-on instead of having to replace them when u want to upgrade RAM..

thank you guys, i took the suggestions and mixed them:

CPU: i5 6500
MoBo: AsRock H170A-X1 / 3.1
RAM: Any 2x4gb ddr4 2133 cl14
HDD: Seagate 1 TB 7200 rpm
GPU: GTX 970 but gonna wait for the 1000 series to be available because prices will drop for 900 series
PSU: corsair 500w
Case: any cheap good looking
OS: 8.1

Please don't tell me you are going to get the Corsair CX500W psu? everything else im ok with just please stay away from that PSU xD

Why not a used r9 290 or r9 290x - most of the devaluation has been knocked out of them by now so you get a lot of card for your cash.

An overclock on a K version is worth a fair bit of cash.

They sell well second hand so they tend to retain their value better.
