I don't normally do any PC gaming on mobile platforms. I'm a power PC kind of guy. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will be temporarily away from my rig. I have a budget of about $500, and I had seen a couple different options to buy. Which of the following would be more suitable for gaming:

Laptop A. Intel core i7 2720QM (2.20 ghz quad core CPU). 8GB RAM. Intel HD graphics 3000 (integrated). Priced at $449.

Laptop B. Intel core i5 2450M (2.50 ghz dual core CPU). 4GB RAM. GeForce GT 525M dedicated graphics. 1GB of dedicated graphics memory. Priced at $400.

Well GPU power is generally more important when it comes to gaming than CPU power so B would be better although you might want to get another 4GB of RAM for it thats probably the biggest hold back so i would spend the extra 30$ or so to get the RAM upgrade on B that will be the best option in my opinion
