So I went on my bthomehub 5 to change my pc address so clicked on my device then made it static so I could change it all I did was change last three numbers from 108 to 103 now my computer wont connect my computer connects via Ethernet all other devices work I tried ipconfig renew etc even restarted it back to factory settings no luck!

so you set your ip address, but did you set up your subnet mask, default gateway, and preferred DNS server? When setting a static ip address for your computer all the other fields have to be filled as well, if not you will be able to see the local network but not be able to get to the internet.

I now found out didn't Need to change ip so waste of time how can i connect back to the internet so I can change back to dynamtic? Can i use Google dns? I can't try it I'm not at home and for gateway do I use 255. Address? Let me know.

in your internet protocol window you can click the little circle next to obtain an IP address automatically and do the same for the DNS server. After you click ok it will go to ether the server or your ISP box and it will a sign your computer an IP address.

It's has always been set to automatically obtain ip and dns it just gets the yellow triangle and stuck at identifying network

Did you mean I have to insert ip manually for static then switch back to auto when change my ip back to dynamtic?
