how do you resize drive c to take space from drive d if it has free space

My drive c is almost full while my drive d still has space in it.I heard that you can resize drive c to take space from drive d if it has free space

[OS = Windows 7]

Press windows icon, search CMD and click run as admin. Type: Diskpart, then ,,list volume". You should see all your volumes (C:, D:, floopy, bootable dev etc.) ,,select volume #" (# is it's number). The volume you need so select will be the C:. type ,,expand". Hope i helped! Replay if there are some issuses.
