I have Windows 7 and I burned some MP4 files onto a DVD+R disc. It plays on my computer and one of my DVD players but not the other 2. I used Nero Express. Can someone tell me why it won't play on all the DVD players? One of the players is an LG and it says "MP3, CD-R/RW". I've tried a DVD+R and a CD-R on one of my LG DVD players and both disc work. Is there a free software that I can use to burn the MP3 & MP4 files to disc?
Thanks for any help you can give!

Solution
After reading the specs for both models, it says nothing about them supporting MP4.

MP4 is a compressed video format. Playback of MP4 therefore requires a player which can decompress MP4 files "on the fly".
Neither of those DVD players can do that.
The two DVD players which aren't playing ball, they either don't support MP4, don't support DVD+R media, or both.

Using DVD-R media may be the answer if it's just a case of using compatible media, but bear in mind some older DVD players don't support any type of optical discs except commercially-made ones (eg DVD movies, Audio CDs).

I can't research it without knowing the make & model of the two problematic DVD players

One is a Craig, Model: CVD512a. It states DVD/CD-RW/CD-R/CD Player on it.
Second one is LG DVD Player, Model #DP132. It states MP3/CD-R/RW on it.

Thanks for your help!
