How Much Could This System Go For?

How much could I get if I were to sell this PC?

Most likely the GTX 1080 will come out, just to keep that in mind so that would probably bring the price down a bit.

I've had it for about 4 months now and have had no problems, just some dust collected by the fans on the mesh.

If any other information is needed, I can provide it.

I would say about $1,000 to $1,200. Mainly because its graphics is a 980 which isn't the most desired card anymore, although still holds its ground fairly well.

Just be sure to reset it before selling it :)

The GTX 980 may not be the most desired card but that system can easily handle SLI GTX 1080 8gb if someone where to upgrade the GPU(s) and sell that 980 for a few hundred $$$. IMHO I wouldn't take less then $1500 with the 980, less if you exclude the GTX 980.

But before you sell it I would make sure the cables are cleaned up and the system is spotless.

Parts alone without the GPU are worth $1500. The best person to buy this is someone that doesn't want to build from scratch but knows the basics as far as cleaning and putting in new GPU's. I really am not sure were to sell system as I typically sell my "older" systems to friends and family for a fraction of what I paid for it.

I think it really depends on how fast you want to sell the system, obviously lowering the price will sell it quicker, although you could sell the parts individually which takes longer but there's a good chance you'll make more money.

The only "issue" I see is that if anyone wants to upgrade to 32gb of RAM they'll need to get the Pro version of Win10.

You need to find that person who's looking at pre-built HP (or any brand) "gaming" systems, that person will be the one who will buy a system like that. But like I said before to get the highest price that system should be spotless and cable management should be clean and tidy.

*And like weberdarren97 said, make sure you do full reset (Windows and any OC's).

I would try to sell it locally like Craigslist (no shipping) before posting it on eBay to avoid damages or getting ripped off. I always feel its better to meet somewhere were both parties can agree on and still be able to test the unit then you can make a cash sale and be done with it.

I've sold individual parts this way and have never run into a issue but I always instructed the person on how to set up the GPU or PSU (or w/e the part is) and what maintenance (if any) has to be done.

Another thing to consider is where you live, the reason I say you could get around $1500 is because most stores here (North-east coast/US) sell pre-builts for around the same price but there i5's with GTX 970's and typically the rest of the parts are low end.

Im selling it to get a more college friendly computer or laptop, so something not as large as that 780T. Thing is massive.

Probably won't be doing much gaming during it so I won't be needing high end parts.
