Computer Specifications:

-Intel Core i7-5820k @ 4.3ghz
-Gigabyte UD4 X99 Motherboard
-32GB DDR4 RAM
-2x Gigabyte WindForce 970 (SLI)
-750W SeaSonic Platinum-Rated PSU
-Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (freshly reinstalled)
-Latest NVIDIA Graphic Drivers

My computer started freezing during games while SLI was enabled. My secondary monitor would go black, and my main monitor would either freeze on a frame, or go gray. The PC would then reboot. No warnings, no BSODs, no errors...Just reboot. I decided to completely reinstall my PC and install the latest NVIDIA drivers directly, so I have a fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

I started by removing my bottom GPU and using one GPU for gaming. It works - 10 minutes of gaming and it passed. Then I switched the graphic cards. Again, one GPU in my system, but it's the second GPU. After 3 minutes, my screen went gray, and my PC rebooted.

So one GPU works, the other doesn't. It only crashes in games. I decided to run a FurMark GPU Benchmark to ensure the graphic card wasn't overheating...Again, the GPU only crashed under load.

I ran FurMark for 15 minutes on the GPU that crashes in games. 99% GPU load, max temp 72C. It did not crash. It only crashes in games.Tried both Counter Strike GO and Witcher 3. It crashes in games, but not FurMark.

Only one of the two graphic cards crashes and it only crashes in a video game, not benchmarking software.

What could be the problem? Do I need to RMA my GPU?

Solution
I had a similar thing when I overclocked my 970 too far, try underclocking it, it may not be stable at stock clocks for whatever reason. I'd say try and RMA it if that is the case.

It could be from overall system instability, it also happened to me when I overclocked my Ram, CPU, GPU. Just under clock your CPU and GPU and then perform a stress test for about 3-4 hours other than that I have no idea...
