So whats the performance difference between these two?

I can guess AMD would do better since it is 256 bit and 4GB, I really love having NVidia GPUs, just want to know the difference between these two.

Price is about 240 dollars for both here, I know prices are messed up in Pakistan for PC parts. So which one is better to have?

I just want a quieter card which doesn't draw so much power and comes with stable updates.

i3 4160 - Corsair Vengeance 4GBx2 - Asus H97M-E - Seagate 1 TB, normal Thermaltake case with 350 powersupply which is so temporary khuz I ran out of monies.

Planning to get a Corsair Carbide 100R Window case, Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 550W and aaa Gee Pee Youhh

Edit: My main question here is the difference, how good can these both run?

if you want to pay the same for less performance, thats your choice.
The R9 380 can give 5-10 fps more in many games. And can run on your power supply no problem.

Why did you ask for others advice if you were going to ignore it?

Oh no, sir. I have in no way ignored your advice, I took your word that AMD would consume more power and would run hotter which is something I am running away from so I asked my friend who I trust and he's helped me make my first build and he suggested I should stick to NVidia, Strix has good looks and seeing as I have Asus Mobo and I am planning to get one Asus monitor for gaming I thought I should just stick to Asus Strix and have more members of Asus family y'know what I mean ;]

I checked comparisons, you were surely right about 380 but NVidia features just holds me there, I know you understand me now :)

Thanks a ton.
