Hello i have strange issue with my PC.

After sleep, sometimes my monitor led just blinks,as like it is in standby mode.
I am hearing the PC to start up after sleep, but i am not able access it.I tried accessing it via TeamView and in stays in turn off state, but the fans and light of the pc box is working as normal.
Also Reset button on the box is just doing nothing, when stuck in this state,no issues with the button itself.

It is not video card or driver issue,I tried with both intelhd graphics and my AMD card, also with no drivers at all.

I located the issue as related to the dimm,I have 2X8GB module. With 1 module doesnt mater which, the PC starts without any issue.

My modules are DDR4
ADATA 8GB 2133 Mhz
Kingston 8GB 21333 Mhz.

I am not sure if the issue is related to the combination of the memory modules or the amount of memory that going to 16GB.
MB MSI B150M PRO-DH LGA1151
Windows 7 Ultimate,I also tried reinstalling the OS,nothing changed.

Any ideas if i can fix this ?

Even though that may work for you now, you never know what problems you'll have down the road that were caused by whatever incompatibility or other issue there is between the 2 sticks. Even 2 sticks out of the same pack can fail to work together, though they were tested to be able to.

I'd say it's either you have a bad memory slot, a bad processor, or a bad motherboard.
Did you try the memory with the first and third slots, as is usually the recommended configuration? If so, try the first and SECOND slots instead.

I dont think there is any problem with the hardware. The PC works properly with one memory module of 8GB,with either of them. Also i tried different combinations of slot, the positions of modules do not matter, the problem is the same.
Now it wont wake up,almost half of the time. Before i had Kingston at 2400mhz,with this module, the problem was happening 100% of the time.

I am almost sure that this is related to some memory compatibility issue or the amount of memory going above 8GB.It is the latest intel chipset,it should sup 3-4 times more memory anyway.Probably will try to contact MSI support.

I have the same exact problem as you. I have Windows 10, a MSI Z-170-A Pro motherboard (Problem with MSI motherboards?), and G.Skill ram. With 1 stick of ram it's fine, but with 2, it doesn't allow it to wake up. Tried a bunch of stuff, but nothing worked.

If you find a solution, that'd be awesome if you shared it.

As workaround i am using Hibernation at the moment, this allows me to use 16gb and not to turn off the PC completely. There i no other problem related to the memory, only this annoying little sleep problem.
