Had this problem before multiple times. It keeps coming back and makes gaming impossible.
I have tried every fix I can find online.
Like I bet the first 10replies I'll only be able to say "tried it, doesnt work" to..
I don't know what to do, it's steam games, non-steam games, just normal operation of comp @home screen after comp goes to "sleep"
I can't get it to go away again, came back randomly today while playing on steam.. I'm beyond frustrated...
HELP ME PLEASE!!! :( :( :( :( :(

Fixing temp issues would get rid of issues like yours, the CPU throttles back speed when it gets too hot, so was a good idea to clean off the heatsink.

OK so I tried something that I was sure would not fix it.. and it did. Well at least I think it did, could be the fact that I deleted everything I installed in the past few days plus some other older programs, and cleaned up my startup and running background programs.. but I took off my cpu heat sink and fan and completely cleaned both as well as put new thermal paste on and voila.. no more stutter.
