So about 2 days ago I went to power on my pc and it turns on for about 5 sec and then shuts off then turns on again in a loop. The display, mouse, and keyboard were not powered up when it was on. I redid all of the wiring and cleaned it out and it still didn't work. 2 days later I turned it on and it's working fine again. At first I thought the mobo went bad but now I have no clue. Any explanations? Thanks in advance =)

Power supply.
Find a known working PSU to try in there, I'm quite sure that'll be the cure.
You might look over the motherboard for any leaky or swollen capacitors
