FX-6300 Bottlenecking a GTX 970?

Hey so i wanted to know if it would be a good idea to install a EVGA GTX 970 FTW+ with my 2 year old FX-6300 and if possible would it bottleneck?

P.S. I have a 650 Watt PSU and 8 GB RAM

in cpu intensive games you will get a bottleneck as something like a i5 6400 will easily outperform it
however with a 6300 you can get a good cooler and overclock the crap out of it i mean im never surprised to hear that someone got it to 5ghz and even just a overclock to 4.5ghz will remove most of the bottleneck
