hello guys I have newly built a pc so I wanna record my gaming can my cpu handle gaming and recording at the same time?

cpu:i7 6700
gpu:gtx 970

It depends what will you stream/record.
If it will be Doom 4 with Ultra settings then no.
If Starcraft 2 (most other games) with high settings then yes.

If you want to stream (i.e. twitch.tv) you need solid upload bandwidth.
I think you need around ~10-11Mbps for 1080p or ~4Mbps for 720p stream.
 
Shadowplay, as said above works great for most people.

I tested it and my FPS never dropped by more than 5%. If I used VSYNC and capped to 60FPS it was already capped so there was NO performance loss there.

Go ahead and experiment. You can also record DESKTOP.
 


I think you mean wait for the 1070.

Also, Founders is more expensive and will be sold out (within minutes likely). Other after-market cards come a few weeks later and will have better coolers to overclock higher but they'll also be in high demand for quite a while likely.

waiting for 1070 is waste because I live in Saudi arabia and don't know how much it will cost

and I forgot to tell I have asus gtx 970 strix oc edition
