I was looking for a decent mouse with side buttons, but after a quick search, I found that most have either far too many buttons for my liking (and needs) or buttons only on one side. I have my eyes set on the Cougar 250m but I wanted to see if there were other similar options, maybe even at a lower price, although that's not too important. Is the Cougar 250m decent? Are there others with those characteristics but of better quality? I don't mind if there are a couple more buttons as long as they are big or spread around well enough that there's not the risk of accidental clicking or things like that. Thanks in advance

I've never heard of the Cougar... but I own this one personally:

It's the Steelseries Sensei. About as plain a gaming mouse as you can buy. Two macro-customizable keys on each side, a DPI button in the middle, left click and right click, and a scroll wheel. The LED is white and pulses softly- I love it. It is an amazing mouse and the build quality on Steelseries peripherals is LEGENDARY. Also, the software for customizing the mouse is really good. It has an amazingly simplistic but beautiful look, and feels great in the hands. Not to mention that the cord is braided perfectly and looks...

If you want RGB customization, go with the Steelseries Rival 100 or 300. It has basically the same layout as the Sensei, just with a little more 'gaming' look.
