Hey everyone, I built a computer last Friday and in the last 2 days, I noticed my power supply (EVGA Supernova 850W P2) making a strange sound about every five seconds. It's hard to describe so I took a video of the sound. (Note: you'll have to put your volume up)

It happens at about the 2 seconds mark, 7 second mark, 12 second mark, and 17 second mark. My clock was also ticking in the background so you will be able to hear that as well. Does this noise mean that the power supply is faulty, or is it a harmless noise?

My other parts are:

MSI GTX 970
i7 6700k
Corsair DDR4 3000 MHz 16 GB (2 sticks)
Samsung 850-EVO SSD 500 GB
Sandisk SSD 240 GB
Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 7200 RPM
ASUS Z170-AR Motherboard
Hyper 212 Evo cooler
Phantom 410 Mid-Tower

FIRST EDIT: I would also like to add that I had an r9 270 installed first, but then I switched to a GTX 970 a few days ago. This is when I started to hear the noise. Also, the noise was reduced after I turned on ECO mode, but it came back when I took out my CPU wire and plugged it back into the PSU.

SECOND EDIT: I just reinserted my CPU wire again and now it's all the way into the PSU. I also switched the VGA wire with another one to see if the wire itself was bad. However, the noise is still occuring. I have noticed it's quieter though.

Two of my friends came over and said it's more than likely not an issue. My computer has been running well and games have not given me an issue. Also, I have noticed the sound seems quieter now. Should I exchange the power supply anyway or should I leave it as is?

EDIT: I have discovered this noise is absent when I play a game, but is present when I am not playing a game.
