What causes a computer to suddenly freez without a Bsod or error in event viewer ?

Not even any error on my motherboard debug screen It happened a few times at light usage I can run Aida 64 cpu stess test for 3 hours without any proplem also I can gaming at ultra for 6 constant hours without any proplems if it a hardware proplem it should at least show an error on my motherboard debug screen but during the freeze it does not show any error so I don't think it is a hardware proplem

Could be a number of things, here are a couple of common ones:

1. GPU crashing
2. CPU overheating
3. Too many programs open.
4. Driver problem.
5. hard drive failing.

If you don't already have your hard drive backed up then this is maybe a good time to backup everything you want to keep.
