how do I install a burnt window 8 on my w 7 lap top?

Put in the disk, reboot the system, run the setup. Put in the license key when it asks. If you don't have a license key, purchase a copy. I'd suggest just going to Windows 10 though if you are installing 8 and have 7 now, 10 is free now for Win 7 updates, 8 is not.
