I connected my 2TB HD to my macbook pro and the HD light is on and you can hear the drive working but it does not show up on my macpro? It works fine on my old 2009 iMac and plays well on the TV. I've looked it up on disk utility but nothing still shows up?? Please help!

I'm sorry to hear about your detection issues with the WD Elements! I'd strongly recommend you swap the USB cable and change the USB port where the external HDD is connected to on the MacBook Pro. Afterwards, make sure you check Disk Utility again and see if you could be able to recognize it.
I'd also advise you download WD Drive Utilities and WD Security for Mac from our official website.
