I'm not sure whether it's due to packet loss or just high latency, however whenever I game or stream the internet can be noticeably very slow in spikes.
Did some ping test through my router and other IP's such as google, and it spikes quite a bit about every 30 seconds or so.
I wanted to fix this issue so I've tried a couple of things.
1. Maybe there was a signal interference? Tried changing channels, etc. nothing.
2. Maybe location (Concrete or what not?) Tried moving it all around no avail.
3. Then I started to think maybe it's something between my modem and router, so I tried plugging an ethernet to my devices. What I got is that wired connection runs 100% smoothly so that got rid of my suspicions of some other issues.
4. I was skeptical but I wanted to just try changing DNS server, same issues occurred.
5. Tried replacing router with a new one and updated firmware nothing worked.
6. Tried a differently frequency instead of 2.4ghz and tried 5ghz, nothing helped.
Can anyone help me with the cause of the issue?
