Is Gateway GM5483E MB mounting compatable with ATX?

I have an '07' Gateway GM5483E which won't recognize memory beyond 3.25G, so I'm thinking of replacing the MB with one that will. Can I get an ATX MB that will fit the mounting? Or is there something ot there that will? Thanks.

I think you're free to do whatever. It looks like a normal desktop it is ATX, it is no DELL so get you a board with socket 775 that runs with DDR2 and your cpu and memory will fit. By the way, your system is 32 or 64 bit?
